On January 24th, the City of Rincon transferred flow from the existing, dilapidated headworks to the new plant headworks designed by P.C. Simonton & Associates. While the headworks is fully operational, the site still has a little to go prior to acceptance by the City. The transfer was successful and the new system is operating great. The solids and grit being removed from the stream will be beneficial to the plant both in O&M and in treatment capability. Treating wastewater never looked so good!
