The City of Hinesville previously adopted a Redevelopment Master Plan for its downtown area. This project evaluated the condition and capacity of existing potable water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and drainage facilities under current conditions and under the demand of maximum density according to the Redevelopment Master Plan. The overall study area of the project was estimated at 825 acres.

The firm was responsible for conducting field testing and surveying of existing potable water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer facilities to establish base conditions and capabilities. Hydrology and hydraulic models were created to evaluate both existing and proposed demand scenarios in the downtown area. Deliverables to the Owner included a Detail Finding Report that separated improvements necessary to support current demands and improvements necessary to support maximum future demands. This report also included a detailed cost estimate of recommended improvements that has since been incorporated into the City’s Capital Improvement programs.
